As we travelled through Riyadh and Jeddah, the two cities of Saudi Arabia, we had the opportunity to experience a little but of this culture unlike any other. Riyadh was the perfect place to start. The city bustled with energy and life, full of opportunity for exploration and discovery.
Next, it was off to Jeddah, the city by the sea. With its charming souks, mosques, and stunning coastline, Jeddah presented an entirely different atmosphere than its bustling neighbour. Taking a leisurely stroll through the old markets and taking in the beauty of the Red Sea provided us the perfect relaxation after a day of hard work.
Throughout my journey, I was both educated and inspired by the culture and people of Saudi Arabia. We will treasure the moments of awe, beauty, and connection that we experienced along the way.
